Isha Anand Sharma as Isha in Super Sisters |
Mumbai, August 02, 2018 (CityNewsAre): Here is the Interview with Isha Anand Sharma as Isha in show Super Sisters on Sony SAB.
Q: Please tell us about your character Isha in Sony SAB’s Super Sisters.
Isha: Well, it’s about a girl who’s actually a beauty without brains and lost in her own world. She considers herself the prettiest girl in the world. She is only bothered about her makeup and her looks. She thinks no guy can reject her. While she’s playing a negative role, she’s being really bubbly, chirpy and I am sure eventually the audience will accept this negative role in a positive way.
Q: What made you say yes to a negative character like Isha in Super Sisters?
Isha: One, the name, obviously. Not everybody gets to play the role of the same name that they have for the rest of their lives. I am lucky to have got this. The foremost reason for me to say yes to this role was that this negative role will actually make the audience fall in love with the character. The word “negativity” carries a lot of negative impact in itself, but then you will get to witness the positive side of the character too.
Q: How has your shoot experience been till now? Tell us some behind the scenes stories.
Isha: We have a gala time every time we shoot. Yes, it gets really hectic though since I have a lot on my plate right now. Apart from that, if I have to tell you about some incidents from the shoot then it would be about this scene in which I had to consider the pillow as Ashmit Oberoi (the main male lead) and act like I am kissing him. I was so much into the scene that I ended up almost suffocating myself with that pillow. The director had to cut scene and when I took away the pillow, I was breathing very heavily, and it was so embarrassing that everybody on the set started laughing. My punch-line is ‘aww maa’ and whenever I say that, everyone starts laughing.
Q: Do you have a sister? If yes, tell us something about your relationship.
Isha: No, I do not have a sister but then I really wish I had one.
Q: How is your role as Isha different from your previous roles?
Isha: The previous roles that I have played mostly had a negative image that I had to carry, whereas in this role, even while being negative, my character carries a lot of innocence, chirpiness and of course the entertainment. Lots of young girls will relate to Isha’s character.
Q: What can the viewers expect from Sony SAB’S upcoming show Super Sisters?
Isha: I think viewers are going to fall in love with the on and off screen ‘Isha’. This show will not just bring a lot of drama and entertainment, but will also have a mystery element coming in every now and then. I can’t reveal a lot about the show, but I am sure the audience is going to fall in love with it.
