| Japinder Kaur shows summer collection during SnK Couture opening in Amritsar |
Amritsar, July 01, 2018 (Nannu Studio): Dubai based Bollywood Film Director Japinder Kaur opened SnK couture at the Humble Una Hotel on Lawrence Road in Amritsar. Guests enjoyed browsing and shopping SnK’s summer collection. The Outfits range from Rs 4000-13000 in the present collection.
When asked about the USP of the brand, Japinder said, “I want to bring out Punjabi fashion in a very elegant way to the world, therefore, we carefully handpick our fabrics, embroideries, styles and cuts. Keeping the suit format in mind, we design very classy flows and combinations which look very young and in-sync with international fashion. The idea is to make a suit look ‘wow’ even among Indians and to the international market.”
The suits are all sourced, produced and tailored in Dubai with inspirations from all over the world. Fabrics from Japan, Korea, France and Swiss are all integrated into these suits. Soon starting SnK western collection within July and also bridal gowns, Japinder will be bringing designs from the world to Amritsar. Special appointments can be taken for custom bridal Gowns of English and Lebanese styles with long trails and heavy intricate designs.
Japinder Kaur last directed the film Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend starring Jackie Shroff, Honey Singh, Divyendu Sharma and Ira Dubey. Furthering her roots into Media, she started a famous online brand “Singh and Kaur Magazine” to bring out the ‘Sikh’ Forbes List of high achievers. Soon after the success of that, she opened a fashion line under the same brand name SnK Couture and also plans to start an SnK high end make up line. Bringing Punjabi fashion to the international world, the brand had models and actresses at the 71st Cannes Film Festival wearing SnK Couture.
